Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Booth at trybooth.app. The short version: be decent to your group, what you post stays yours, and if an allergy is serious, confirm with the venue — not with an app.

What Booth is

Booth gives a group’s night out its own room: a link you drop in any chat, where people suggest places, approve or veto them, and decide. An assistant, Nomi, can take part in rooms where she’s enabled.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple, and you’re responsible for what happens under your account. You need to be at least 13 — or older where your country sets a higher bar — to use Booth.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give Booth the permission needed to host it, show it to the people in your rooms, and process it to provide Booth’s features — including having Nomi read the room when she’s part of it. Post only what you have the right to post.

The room link

A room opens for anyone who has its link — that is the invite working as designed. Send it to the people the plan is for, and know that anyone a member forwards it to can join and read the room.

House rules

Don’t use Booth to break the law, harass people, spam rooms, impersonate others, scrape the service, or probe its security. We can remove content and suspend accounts that do — that protection is part of what every other member signed up for.

Nomi and place information

Nomi’s contributions are generated by AI and can be wrong. Place details — hours, menus, whether a kitchen can actually feed everyone — come from third-party sources and change without notice. If a dietary need or allergy is safety-critical, confirm with the venue directly before you go. Booth helps a group decide; it doesn’t guarantee the venue.

The service

Booth is provided as it is, without warranties, and features may change, pause, or retire as it evolves. To the maximum extent the law permits, Booth’s liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid to use it — which, today, is nothing.

Leaving

You can stop using Booth any time, and you can have your account deleted — the Privacy page says how. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date. Using Booth after that means the new terms apply.
